Based on the Canonet QL 19, the QL 19E had an electronically-controlled Seiko ES programmed shutter.
The first Canon camera to have an electronic shutter.The shutter used six transistors, three diodes, and a tantalum capacitor. The shutter blades were controlled by magnet.
One 1.3 V MP mercury cell powered the camera's exposure meter and shutter. Other specifications were the same as with the QL 19.
